Our client is a joint venture company between a Malaysian conglomerate and the government of Lao PDR through the Ministry of Public Security.  Our client has a current agency force in excess of 100 commission based professionals and licensed to carry life and generalized insurance plans throughout the county. Due to an exceptional response to their product portfolio, our client is seeking to expand their sales based and has an excellent opportunity for a Thai citizen to join their growing organization.

The Agency Manager will report directly to the Senior Vice President Agency business and will be responsible for building an agency business. This will involve recruiting Unit Managers and District Managers who will in turn ensure that agents are recruited at a consistent monthly quantity to ensure sustainable growth and at a quality level that allows an agreed performance level to be achieved. The Agency Manager will ensure that the sales quantity is performing to the agreed targeted figure and that the sales performance is sustainable. The Agency Manager will probably spend about 40% of their time outside the office running sales seminars and increasing motivation by working with the sales force. In addition, the Agency Manager will be responsible for ensuring strong and fair management is enforced within the Agency and that a team spirit is developed among all levels and all types of staff and associates.

Our client requires a degree qualified man or woman, who has experience working in the life insurance business, either in a sales, recruitment or training capacity. The person will typically be aged between 30 and 40 years old and have a modern personality and management technique. The Agency Manager will have the strength of personality to ensure effective control of all Agency functions combined with the ability to inspire confidence and create a team spirit.
