Our client is an international airline with a globally expanding network and a modern fleet that was recognized as “Asia’s Top Airline Brand,” and continues to win awards from “Best Cabin Crew” to “Best Managed Airline.”  With over 100 destinations and a growing fleet of the world’s most advanced airliners, our client has recently begun operations in Thailand and is looking for an experienced commercial manager to assume the following responsibility.


COUNTRY MANAGER – THAILAND - AIRLINE

BANGKOK - INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE - EXPATRIATE


The Country Manager will report to the Regional Manager based abroad, and will be responsible for steering our client business in Thailand towards meeting its strategic objectives, specifically by managing all aspects of our client’s business on a day to day basis and increasing sales revenues. This will involve establishing strong relationships with external customers & agencies, and leading our client’s management team in its endeavours to improve and drive the organisation forward. The Country Manager will be expected to proactively manage the objectives, responsibilities and activities of the whole business to ensure that market share, revenue and net operating income are optimised and key performance indicators are achieved. The Country Manager will lead a small team and will take responsibility for establishing and monitoring budgets whilst ensuring professional and effective services are provided to an increasing customer base.

The Country Manager will be a decision maker with a proven track record of managing airline operations at a country level. The successful candidate will have outstanding problem solving skills, a high level of initiative, excellent communication skills and the business leadership ability to run a dynamic and modern business. The successful candidate will have vast experience in reservations and pricing and an in-depth knowledge of the Thailand market The Country Manager will have very good English skills, be able to evaluate and develop subordinates and ensure that our client offers an outstanding level of services and solutions.
