The Accounting Manager will report to the expatriate Vice President and will be lead our clients accounting activities and be responsible for assuming the following key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of all budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure completeness of monthly reconciliation and schedule.
  • Supervise and support accounting staff in the daily operations and handling the accounting functions: standard costing, account receivable, account payable, taxation, general, etc
  • Improve internal accounting control procedure & accounting systems and liaison with auditors and revenue department.
  • Review withholding tax report, VAT report and other tax report
  • Responsible for the deadline of weekly reports, monthly reports, yearly report and management reports any other requirements from the management.

The Accounting Manager will have an accounting or finance degree and possess at least 5+ years of accounting experiences preferably within a multinational services or retail business. Additionally the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of managing costs and local taxation regulations and have an excellent analytical ability to analyze work independently handling numerous transactions and monthly responsibilities. Additionally the Accounting Manager must have very good English communication skills, have high moral and ethical standards and be able to lead with a hands on dynamic management style in fast moving international organization.

Our client is a North American steel manufacturer with manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, Europe, the U.A.E and currently opening a new state of the art manufacturing facility in the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. The company has established the company in Bangkok and is currently seeking an experienced steel based experienced manager to head their factories construction management and eventual manufacturing.

The Factory Manager will report to the expatriate Global Operations Director based in Bangkok and oversee the construction and eventual leadership of a newly built steel manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be initially based in Bangkok overseeing contractors and regularly doing site visits to ensure quality and performance standards are continually met. Eventually the position will be relocated to the Eastern Seaboard and oversee equipment installation and manpower needs to being manufacturing. Additionally the Factory Manager will be required to align their colleagues to determine process improvement, best practices and continuous improvements with lean manufacturing processes to lower production costs whenever possible. The Factory Manager will implement new practices to ensure our client’s manufacturing are continually streamlined and shortages and new production lines are maximized to their fullest potential.

The Factory Manager will be qualified to degree level in an engineering or related subject and have at least 10 years of direct working experience managing manufacturing operations in the steel industry. Additionally the sought after candidate will have a strong background in Lean Sigma and procurement and/or contract manufacturing and well as have a very strong background in international certification practices (ISO) as well as a strong background in commercials.
