Currently our client has acquired several competitors to dominate their industry and is currently expanding their South East Asia presence and is looking for an experiences financial leader.

The Financial Controller will report to the Global Chief Finance Office based abroad and will be responsible for creating and executing a financial business plan that is focused on optimizing sustainable business growth while maximizing the return on stakeholder investment. To achieve this, the Financial Controller will handle the financial management of our client’s business in Thailand, which will involve giving and seeking advice, monitoring and controlling business performance by comparing actual results and budgets and providing management information and reports in a timely and accurate manner. The Financial Controller will prepare annual budgets, monitor and advise on commercial performance, handle risk management and help managing all accounting transaction and reporting systems, and lead a number of subordinates in Thailand and surrounding regional offices.

The Financial Controller will have an accounting or finance degree and possess at least 10 years of senior level accounting experiences preferably within a multinational software or services business. Additionally the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of managing financial risks and local and international (IS GAAP) regulations and have an excellent analytical ability to analyze and oversee a large group of subordinates within numerous transactions and monthly responsibilities. Additionally the Financial Controller must have very good English communication skills, have high moral and ethical standards and be able to lead with a hands on dynamic management style.
