SENIOR MERCHANDISE PLANNER – RETAIL / FASHION
The Senior Merchandise Planner will report to the Expatriate Managing Director and take ownership of all merchandise allocation and ensure the offering portfolio is profitable and consistent for customer needs. This will involve allocating styles and budgets, manage categories (apparel, shoes, accessories) and ensuring price points are consistent for market rates and overall profitability. Additionally the sought after candidate oversee clearances and exit plans for stock management, manage continual stock intakes as control aging and non performing categories. The Senior Merchandise Planner will also managing supplier trading terms and play a key role in ensuring the portfolio is consistent and is attractive to the Thailand retail market (fashion) The successful candidate will have very good English skills and be qualified to at least degree level and have at least 8+ years merchandise planning experience preferably within the fashion industry with a strong focus on international and regional brands. The successful candidate will have very strong analytical skills; have a quantitative mindset while also being able to have strong market sense and having a very dynamic personality.
