Our client is an international online retail with operations around the world, providing their clients with international brands in categories ranging from clothing apparel, shoes and children’s wear. The company is currently opening a Thailand branch of operations with the vision to become Thailand’s market leader in online retail. As a start up in Thailand the company will be aggressively marketing their company to their potential Thai consumers and is looking for an experience social medial professional to join their growing global organization.
The Social Media Executive will report to the expatriate Vice President and take ownership of all social media marketing responsibilities in line with corporate objectives. This will involve utilization of social media, internal and external websites, and other new media outlets to enhance understanding and gain awareness among key audiences. Additionally the successful candidate will assist in setting the tone, philosophy, and strategy for our client’s use of social media. The Social Media Executive will also develop and execute social media programs that support our client’s strategic initiatives and branding efforts across the various social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to at least Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate communications (including internal communications, public relations, and marketing communications).
- Proven track record leading social media initiatives for a company or organization with demonstrated success across multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Experience in online marketing, advertising, and public relations strategy implementation.
- Must possess basic computer skills and have the ability to use standard software programs, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Microsoft Outlook for e-mail and Microsoft Internet Explorer for Web browsing
- Very Good English communication skills and an interest preferably in fashion.
