Our client is a leading company in medical assistance, travel assistance and insurance claims which has been established for over 50 years with almost 150,000 provider partners. Headquartered in Europe, the company has local center office in 11 countries across all continents, including Thailand which serves as a regional hub of operations for around-the-clock services throughout South-east Asia and India. The entity in Thailand is currently seeking for an Assistance Center Manager to join the team to take on the crucial role within their global organization.


The Assistance Center Manager will report to the General Manager in Thailand and will be responsible for the management and business strategy of the Assistance Center, ensuring high customer satisfaction and exceptional quality of service. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute the strategy for Thailand Assistance Center by focusing on integration with company and customers’ needs.
  • Monitor to ensure the Center operation reaches a high standard and aligns with company strategy and regulation.
  • Identify area of improvement on case handling performance, team operation, system and internal facility.
  • Lead and support the team and manage workload control along with assistance service efficiency by using feedback and internal tools.
  • Ensure all standards and procedures are followed.
  • Participate in global activities and implement in Thailand Assistance Center.
  • Utilize feedback to make improvements in the company and services.
  • Coordinate with other management departments to ensure the targets and budgets are being adhered to.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level in Business Administration, Medical field, or related subject.
  • 7+ years of experience in Medical insurance sector, with at least 3 years in a managerial position. Preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken / written English and Thai are required.
  • Prior experience in leading a team.
  • Customer-oriented, flexible, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • High interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Power BI is advantageous.
