Our client is one of Singapore’s fastest growing food and beverage business, specializing in sweet and savory snacks, and has grown to become the country’s favorites with their localized, unique taste. Founded by a driven and passionate entrepreneur, the company aims to create tastes that will satisfy snack lovers’ tastebuds, leaving them wanting for more. Established in 2017, our client has experienced a steady growth in their business both locally and internationally and is seeking to expand their products and services to Thailand. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take a crucial role within their growing organization.


The Business Development Manager will be responsible in managing operational duties and leading the team to meet business objectives by driving brand development projects and improving the brand’s position. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Serve as the primary contact to coordinate with the core team from different countries (CEO, CFO, COO, Creative Marketing Executive, and Business Development Executive) and coordinate between several projects along with the Thailand team.
  • Manage and supervise daily operations of the business by coordinating with various departments whilst fostering a professional and positive work environment.
  • Define the company’s daily operation and suggest improvements to business strategies and other company objectives.
  • Drive brand development projects through brand strategy and communication to grow the brand.
  • Assist and liaise with business operations and marketers to develop strategies that align with the brand and drive company growth.
  • Contact potential local and overseas (B2B) clients and prepare quotations and price list.
  • Plan and attend B2C events to increase brand awareness.
  • Source suppliers for marketing, packaging, printing, and logistics.
  • Manage operational duties to ensure efficient order fulfilment processes by designing a set of procedures and policies for daily operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day packing and order fulfillment on e-commerce platforms.
  • Manage incoming inquiries and provide updates to logistics team on couriers.
  • Accurately record stock movement and stock reports and place orders for stock replenishments.
  • Improve warehouse flow to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a degree level in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in sales (FMCG/ F&B industry is a plus) with proven performance record and experience in managing and leading a small team.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in business operations, overseeing all aspects of running a business, from planning, organizing, directing, and controlling business activities to reach target goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Strongly driven, adaptive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of development strategies.
  • Able to travel flexibly overseas for food exhibitions.
