Our client is a leading construction materials organization that manufactures and sells thermal and acoustic insulation products to their clients internationally. Due to the significant growth, our client is preparing for a forthcoming IPO and is currently seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to take on a crucial role in leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts in the following capacity.
The successful candidate will be working closely with various departments in developing commercial and business development strategies and leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts. The CCO’s main duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
- Establishing relevant business KPIs for the company to track
- Creating and executing commercial strategies aimed at accelerating growth
- Studying industry trends and creating an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities
- Managing the commercial and sales teams (including specification and technical team) with the goal of improving key metrics and working with the marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness
- Heavily involving in the motivation, drive, and development of new talent within the organization
- Developing an understanding of customers’ needs and making sure they are met and developing partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at accelerating company’s growth
- Responsible for ensuring all business activities are in line with the organization’s objectives
- Assist in the development of budgets and other financial systems within the company and responsible for the approval of the company’s product pricing and positioning
- Following up on daily sales achievements and provide frequent updates to the CEO
Qualifications:
- At least bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business administration, or related field
- Experience from a construction materials manufacturing company or from related industry as a sales director or commercial director
- Proven experience in sales and client relationship management
- Experience in market research and analysis
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and performance reporting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Skills in strategic and business planning would be highly beneficial
- A self-starter who is detail-oriented and well-organized
- Very good command in both Spoken and Written English
