Our client is a nongovernmental organization based in the U.S. The aim of the organization is to rescue young girls and women who are trafficked, abused, and exploited by criminal syndicates and shut down these trafficking networks. They also provide aftercare services including medical support and psychological counselling to victims, assisting them in their process of rehabilitation and reintegration into the society. Our client aims to expand its operations to SE Asia, setting up their regional base in Bangkok with the Chief Human Resources Officer assuming responsibility for overseeing the employees in Thailand and other SE Asia region.
The Chief Human Resources Officer will work closely with the CEO to drive the organizational design, development, and implementation of development programs, talent acquisition, health and wellness, and all areas of function, ensuring that they correspond with the organizational objectives.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
- Develop and implement HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives and communicate the company’s mission and strategic vision.
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/ senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Work with the company’s executive management team to establish a plan of management succession that aligns with the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Operate a high-performance talent acquisition function that brings in top tier talent.
- Establish and coordinate employee training programs and build a transformational learning and development capability.
- Build our culture into the fabric of the organization.
- Lead HR projects (e.g., compensation plans revisions) and internal communication projects (e.g., job satisfaction surveys).
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plan that are competitive and cost-effective.
- Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations.
- Oversee payroll and performance evaluation systems.
- Design and modify company policies and procedures.
- Review and update our employment contracts and agreements.
- Prepare budgets by the department.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience at senior management level, with at least 3 years in Top Management Level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, well-organized strategic thinker, and a great team player.
- Proven ability to remain impartial, discrete and exercise executive judgment.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage many work streams simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and management skills.
- Cross-functional business understanding.
- Expertise in talent acquisition and hiring for diverse and complex roles.
- Experience scaling new projects quickly to address the growth requirements of the organization.
- Ability and flexibility to travel domestically/ internationally.
