FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS MANAGER (FP&A) – COSMETICS

Our client is a large multinational company with various brands and a global market share leader in the cosmetics and beauty (cosmetics) sector. As part of a well-known Asian Multination Conglomerate with various high-end skin care and cosmetics brands sold internationally, our client now has an opening in their Thailand brand of operations for a Financial Planning and Analysis professional to take on this crucial role in the following capacity.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Officer will be in charge of all business forecasting and will be providing analysis in decision-making for all business aspects (operational, strategic, financial). The successful candidate’s further responsibilities are outlined as follows:

• Analyzing the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin
• Monitoring KPIs and identifying the cause of any unexpected variances
• Developing and continually improving budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast
• Presenting monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments
• Implementing a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports
• Developing financial models and analyzing them to support strategic initiatives
• Ad-hoc business performance reporting
• Supporting management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis

Qualifications:  

• Qualified to degree level in financial, accounting, economics, or business related field
• At least 4+ years of FP&A experience, preferably from Beauty / Cosmetics industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and Outlook
• Good budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning skills with knowledge of finance principles and processes
• Detail-oriented and good in problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Thai
