Head of Human Resources – Restaurant Chain

Our client is a well-known Thai Restaurant Group that is currently operating over 20 branches in Thailand and several overseas restaurants and is widely well-known for one of the most popular Thai Restaurant Chains. Operating as a high end Dine-In Restaurant Chain that renowned for its authentic dishes, made from the highest quality recipes, along with its excellent services. Operated for almost 20 years in Thailand, our client has grown exceptionally and now has an opening for a Head of Human Resources (HR) to take on a crucial role in the following capacity:

 

The Head of Human Resources will be reporting to the CEO and will be managing all HR functions at the company. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

 

  • Contributing to achieving the business objectives (growth, profitability, sustainability) through the development and implementation of human resources strategies, processes, and z
  • Manage recruitment activities and new employee orientation / on-boarding
  • Acting as an HR business partner for the site managers to drive change and development plans locally
  • Ensuring adequate HR and payroll administration on a local level
  • Securing internal and external equity of compensation and benefit levels through the utilization of survey data (through Global Compensation & Benefits) and the company’s job evaluation systems
  • Coordinating and participating in the Welfare committee’s agenda, meetings, and agreements
  • Ensuring that local policies and actions align with Thailand’s legal requirements and with Corbion guidelines
  • Responsible for the local HR budget
  • Driving compensation & benefits strategy according to the market and conditions of company
  • Adapting company’s plans, events, or initiatives at a fast pace due to internal or external factor
  • Defining and developing clear policies and at the same time ensure their awareness and compliance
  • Providing the management insightful data, research, and concrete recommendations to take regarding all the aspects related to People Operations based on internal surveys, competitors’ tactics, and market data

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any related field
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar role with prior leadership experience, preferably in food & beverage (restaurant), hospitality, or related sector
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, payrolls, and welfare
  • Highly responsible and motivated
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both spoken Thai and English
  • Proficient in computer skills
