Our client is a Venture Capital firm that provides various investment services as well as financial advice. Operated across Southeast Asia for over 10 years, our client currently has offices in five countries in SEA including the newly opened one in Thailand. Due to the expected expansion, our client is currently seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to serve their operation in Bangkok in the following capacity.
The Investment Analyst will be reporting to the General Manager, based abroad, and the Deputy Manager. Based in Thailand. This sought-after position will be responsible for the business and financial analysis of current and targeted investment portfolios and opportunities will also involve the following key responsibilities:
- Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
- Preparing risk analyses and financial, investment and asset management reports
- Liaising with fund managers and network with industry professionals
- Monitoring closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products
- Reviewing policies and making recommendations for potential adjustments
- Researching relevant markets and identifying trends and patterns
- Compiling advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios.
- Developing complex financial models and analyses legal documents.
- Collaborating with fund advisors, asset management team, company analysts, and senior executives
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as an investment analyst
- Solid understanding of financial set-up procedures, statistics and economics
- Excellent investment analysis software user
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative, analytical, and strong numeric skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Thai
