Marketing Communication Manager – Cosmetics (Luxury)

Our client is a luxury Japanese cosmetics brand that specializes in skincare. The brand started off as a direct sales brand and has now become a counter brand for the past 8 years, selling their products in major department stores, duty free shops, and e-commerce platforms. For over 50 years, the brand has been operating successfully and expanding continuously in the Thai market. They are now seeking an ambitious Senior Marketing Manager to create and implement online and offline marketing strategies for the brand.

 

The sought after candidate will be reporting to the Company’s Director and will be leading the company’s online and offline marketing strategies and branding, business growth, and e-commerce site management. They will be required to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives across multiple channels.
  • Implement and oversee marketing campaigns to ensure on time delivery and within budget.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with partnerships including advertising agencies and vendors.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to build brand strategy or marketing plans.
  • Ensure corporate image aligns with the company brand.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budget and expenditures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing strategies such as SEO/SEM, database marketing, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Develop social commerce and e-commerce business plans with key customers to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and improve customer journey.
  • Manage user experience of the e-commerce website and collaborate with related parties to deliver continual improvements for optimal customer experience.
  • Collaborate with and support Sales, Product, and Customer Care teams to execute omnichannel campaigns that align with business objectives and targets.
  • Identify market opportunities by determining consumer requirements, competitor’s shares, forecasting projected business, and establishing targeted market share.
  • Participate in recruiting, training and development, supervising, and evaluating performance subordinates.
  • Provide training or development when necessary to enhance productivity and learning among staff.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing/ Business Management or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ sales experience in marketing, preferably with experience from cosmetics or similar industry.
  • 3+ years of management experience with subordinates.
  • Good English abilities (written/spoken).
  • Proven track record in direct marketing communication role in B2C environment across all channels.
  • Prior experience in implementing strategic marketing communication plans to support business objectives.
  • Solid understanding of search engine ranking and social media platforms.
  • Ability to handle delegate tasks and handle several projects at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, presentation and sales management skills.
