Marketing Director – Restaurant Chain

Our client is a well-known Thai Restaurant Group that is currently operating over 20 branches in Thailand and several overseas restaurants and is widely well-known for one of the most popular Thai Restaurant Chains. Operating as a high end Dine-In Restaurant Chain that renowned for its authentic dishes, made from the highest quality recipes, along with its excellent services. Operated for almost 20 years in Thailand, our client has grown exceptionally and now has an opening for an experienced Marketing Director to take on the following role:


The Marketing Director will be reporting to the CEO and will be responsible to head our client’s Marketing Team and manage the overall Thai and Regional marketing processes of their growing restaurant chain throughout SE Asia. This sought-after position will be responsible for ensuring a close and effective alignment of marketing activities with operational and leadership colleagues across the other functions of the restaurant group, as well as assuming the following key responsibilities:


  • Managing the marketing communications head office and graphic teams, and overseeing the marketing communications activities
  • Responsible for the corporate design and production of marketing collaterals to meet business needs
  • Responsible for the Brand Identity and Brand Marketing management and development
  • Strategically developing an integrated annual marketing promotional plan to drive awareness of its brands, and deliver restaurant revenues
  • Providing strategic direction on all elements of the online marketing platform and overseeing online content development and direction for all brand websites
  • Identifying and managing relationships with external agencies and internal departments
  • Leading relevant brand and marketing projects and supervising of any work completed by third-party agencies



  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Marketing; Communications or equivalent required
  • At least 7+ years of working experience in marketing and communications, within restaurants industry is preferred
  • A thorough understanding of setting marketing objectives, tactics, and strategies required – understands and able to identify the market and its competitors both locally and internationally
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, with exceptional leadership skill
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to direct and manage the relationship with both creative and media buying agencies
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Thai
  • Advanced computer literacy and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Publisher knowledge a key benefit
