Our client is a major European Embassy in Bangkok, who has long been delivering a dynamic expanding program of activity in support of the country’s objectives on various subjects for almost a century of their substantial presence in Thailand. Currently, our client has an opening for a temporary Pay and Benefits analyst to assist with their pay benchmarking project in the following capacity.
The Pay and Benefits Analyst will be assisting in their Corporate Services team and providing support with their pay benchmarking project. This temporary position’s overall duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
- Identifying relevant organisations in Bangkok, to approach for the pay benchmarking exercise, in consultation with HR/SLT/CBS WG
- Liaising with relevant/identified organisations to collate salary and benefits data that can be used to benchmark against salary and benefits at Post
- Analysing role responsibilities across organisations to identify suitable comparators with their governmental grades
- Benchmarking post pay scales and benefits against available data and comparators
- Analysing the data in collaboration with the HR Hub and make suitable recommendations to inform Post’s pay strategy
- Reporting and presenting findings of and recommendations from the benchmarking exercise
- Liaising with other missions in Bangkok to identify good-practice approaches for organising events, visits and other relevant initiatives
Qualifications:
- Qualified to a degree level in a related field
- Previous experience of pay benchmarking in a compensation and benefits function
- Fluency in Excel
- Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets and make subsequent recommendations
- Collaborative working skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
