Due to their planned entrance to Thailand for their online advertising sector, they currently have an opening for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their multinational company in the following capacity
This Business Development Manager will be reporting to the expatriate Regional Director and will be responsible for the business development roles including identifying new partners and establishing long-lasting business relationships with them. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:
- Recognizing opportunities and arranging meetings with decision-makers for e-commerce and retail clients, driving significant value for them, and maximizing our strengths in Indonesia/Vietnam/Thailand
- Providing insights into Indonesia market needs and receiving and analyzing customer feedback in order to enhance the product
- Leading all aspects of negotiations through a consultative sales process and long-term business relationship building
- Owning and leading the negotiation process and solidifying commercial agreements with senior-level executives on the client side
- Help launching new clients in collaboration with the account management team
- Working cross-functionally and creatively, utilizing our entire organization to develop new partnerships
- Representing company at industry conferences and events, including participation in industry panels when appropriate
Qualifications:
- At least a bachelor’s degree or higher in business-related subject
- At least 8+ years of digital advertising, cross-border e-commerce, or other relevant experience
- Previous Sales Experience in the Ad tech Sector or related industry highly preferred
- Strong analytical and business development background
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Ability to build relationships by employing a consultative sales approach with partners
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
- Familiarity with the digital advertising industry and strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders is highly preferred
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
