The firm has been rated as one of the best employers on Fortune 500’s list of international companies for several years in a row and they now have an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to join company for a 1 year contract assignment in the following capacity
The Senior Financial Analyst will be acting as a strategic finance advisor and business partner for their Thailand office and will be responsible for the financial operations of the Thailand business covering all operations and compliance. This sought-after position will report to the Finance Senior Manager, and its overall duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
- Acting as a key point of contact for Thailand, handling full sets of accounts with company’s external service provider
- Undertaking entire payroll operations alongside our external payroll provider
- Preparation of reports to ensure local entities comply with all local regulatory authorities and corporate policies
- Understanding company’s accounting policies and process to effectively support the monthly and year-end closing activities (financial and management aspects) of the entire team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions
- Establishing strong business relationships with company’s bank, external/internal tax, and audit advisors
- Supporting the SE Asia AR team in the review of pricing and commercial terms
- Ensuring timely pipeline management and proper recognition of revenue and timely, accurate revenue reporting
- Preparing invoices, ensuring accurate recording and manage collections, working closely with client contacts on invoice, collections, preparation of tax forms, cheque deposits
- Working closely with other company offices on revenue transfers
- Support for the annual budgeting and planning process, as well as ad-hoc queries, projects, and other business initiatives
Qualifications Required:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting (with either CPA/CA qualification/audit experience is preferred)
- At least 6+ years of post-qualification experience (in a high results focused culture, preferably within a professional services firm)
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Thai, with excellent communication skills
- Strong system skills including proficiency in Excel, data base accounting and financial reporting software essential
- A deep understanding of the Thailand payroll operations, tax implications
