Senior Sales Engineer – Machining Solutions

Our client is a European machining solutions company, who offers innovative milling, laser texturing, manufacturing, automation solutions to their clients across various industries including medical, aerospace, automotive, and electronics sectors. Founded over a century ago, our client is now employing over 3,500 people in  over 50 sites worldwide and is now seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to play a key role in business development sector in Thailand.

 

The Senior Sales Engineer will be reporting to the SEA Managing Director, who is based in Singapore, and will mainly be responsible for selling the tooling and automation solutions to all customers in Thailand. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Working under the guidance of manager to sell a range of their tooling and automation and solutions to all customers in a responsible area and to achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining and developing the markets in the region, reaching new customer exploration objective, and gaining targeted market coverage
  • Managing relationships with clients in responsible area to ensure their needs are met while supporting manager in managing more important client and customer relationships
  • Participating in marketing campaign and executing a market plan for a particular product, service or specialty area while working within established marketing systems
  • Working independently to collate and analyze sales data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats, like NCIS etc. to help improve daily sales job efficiency
  • Providing technical/applicational support for the tooling and automation products
  • Managing relationships with agency and control sales target for each agency

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Qualified to degree level in mechanical or electric engineering, or related subject
  • At least 3 years of sales experience with experience in Die and Mold Machinery Solutions is preferred.,
  • Knowledge of electronics and automation systems is a plus
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Thai
  • Driving license is needed
  • Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoy travelling and visiting customers
