Software QA Engineer – Ecommerce

Our client is the Thailand’s eCommerce platform in the beauty and healthcare sector in Thailand. Formed by a group of experienced entrepreneurs, our client has formed one of the most well-known online platforms for their customers to find and get unique promotions and a full-service online booking platform in Thailand. Established in Thailand in 2018, our client has grown into Thailand’s leading healthcare booking platform and continues to experience significant growth, and due to that, they are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to take on a crucial role within their growing organization.

The QA Engineer will be reporting to the CTO and will be responsible for the software quality assessment through designing and implementing software testing processes. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

• Reviewing and analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
• Developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Prioritizing and planning testing activities
• Playing the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
• Identifying and reporting issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
• Performing regression testing

Qualifications:

• Qualified to a degree level in IT, computer science, or related subject
• At least 5 years of working experience in software quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
• Open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvement
• Very good command of both spoken and written English
