Our client is a globally known luxury fashion house specialized in leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, as well as other fashion accessories. Established in Europe for over a century, our client has grown into one of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands with numerous boutiques locations worldwide and currently, they are seeking an experienced Country Manager to take on a crucial role in the following capacity.
The Country Manager will be responsible for the retail management of the brand to achieve sales target throughout Thailand and will include functions such as Operations, Business Development, Visual Merchandising, Public Relations, Budgeting, Human Resources etc. The overall responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:
- Supervising the visual merchandising activities at the retail locations
- Managing all retail sales personnel in conjunction with the Store Managers
- Enforcing the shop management procedures, and monitoring the conduct of the personnel in the shops and the rapport between the personnel and their clients
- Ensuring the directives set by the Group are complied with and supervising their implementation at the retail locations in conjunction with Visual Merchandising Manager of South Asia
- Developing and maintaining close contact with all media
- Coordinating every aspect of PR events and advertising campaign
- Budgeting for purchase and sales for the various retail locations
- Defining sales targets for all retail locations and sharing with the sales personnel working at those locations the methods of attaining the targets
- Weekly and monthly monitoring of the stock situation for each retail location in various city of Thailand, for each product category and for each brand
- Overseeing the HR function in conjunction with HR Manager of South Asia
- Overseeing the logistic function in conjunction with Logistic Manager of South Asia
Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level in a related subject
- 10+ years of relevant working experience with at least 8 years at managerial level in a multinational luxury good or high-end fashion retailer
- Target-oriented and client focus
- Strategic thinking, well-organized and able to work under pressure
- Capability to drive for results and deliver excellence
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate in luxury fashion industry
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Thai with strong communication and interpersonal skills
