​Being the leader in e-business, the company provides end-to-end eCommerce solutions for retailers, brands, and manufacturers throughout South East Asia. With a mission to help better the brands’ customer relationships, they act as a platform for clients to grow online business models. Since our client’s establishment our client has grown into one of the regions largest eCommerce organizations with operations spanned throughout SE Asia and are continuing to expand and are seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer to take on the following role:

The Operations Director will report to the Group Chief Operations Officer and to the company’s CEO and work in a senior-level role that will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Creating, developing and implementing strategies to identify and pursue lucrative market opportunities and deliver sustainable profitable growth for the organization

  • Identify, develop and implement long and short-term strategic direction and plans. Take responsibility for planning and implementing the business strategies, plan, and procedures with clear objectives of the company's performance and growth

  • Prepare and implement annual budget and capital expenditure for the business operations.

  • Initiate and implement an innovative environment and high-performance culture to provide a competitive edge for the business

  • Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes

  • Manage the operations team, overall daily operations and ensure that daily targets set and are being met.

  • Assist the CEO in budgets, projections, and overall company analytics

  • Overseeing the business operations including development of technology solutions and taking full responsibility for P&L of the organization

  • Providing a positive influence that attracts, develops and retains world-class talent in all disciplines of the organization

  • Requirements


  • Qualified to graduate degree level in a business/finance subject

  • Candidate with previous finance experience is preferred.

  • Hands-on entrepreneurial experience at COO level gained within a technology-based organization with a good mix of strategic and operations experience that drives the organization to grow in new and existing markets

  • Thorough understanding of eCommerce technology within B2B and B2C environments

  • 10+ years of overall management experiences preferably working in the eCommerce or relevant sector.

  • Prior experience in managing P&L

  • Strong leadership, drive and ability to inspire and develop teams

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

  • Candidate should be structured, analytical, pay attention to fine details, hands-on and ambitious.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Excellent command of English
