The Sales Director will join our client’s rapidly expanding sales organization and growth in APAC and be  assigned several territories / countries to manage in APAC. The senior level candidate will report into the VP International Sales based abroad and will be responsible for assisting in growing our client’s market share in and sales teams and distribution partners in the Asia Pacific Region. This will involve the following key responsibilities:
 

  • Evaluates individual and regional performance of the field sales organization and cultivates an environment in which all field sales personnel may improve their performance and grow their sales. Performs annual performance appraisals on each. Develops, recommends and implements field sales staffing changes as dictated by competition and market competition.

  • Develops a sales growth and distribution expansion program consistent with the Company’s brand strategies.

  • Develops effective sales support tools and directs activities required to support sales growth plans.

  • Collaborates with company advertising, technical publications and sales administration groups to develop appropriate plans to support sales growth activities.

  • Tracks monthly, quarterly and annual sales activities and performance. Evaluates performance and takes necessary actions to keep sales on a growth track. 

  • Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecast. Tracks actual sales performance against forecast and adjusts projections according to current market data.

  • Assists in developing annual unit and currency sales budget and performance matrix.

  • Reviews, analyzes and develops international product sell/spec sheets, making them effective tools for regional sales organization and distributor sales teams.
     
    Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level in Business or a related subject.

  • 10 + years of regional B2B / channel management sales experiences in the Asia Pacific Region preferably within the consumer appliance and/or related sector.

  • Previous experience managing sales teams remotely within Asia and a proven background managing various in various cultures and business environments

  • Flexible to frequent regional and international travel (Up to 70%)

  • Existing knowledge of the industrial / commercial laundry sector is essential.

  • Proven sales and management experiences.

  • Very good/ Native level English communication skills.
