Our client is a regional consumer goods company with operations throughout Asia and one of Thailand’s Cosmetics and Infant Care Market Share leaders as well as distributing some of the world’s most popular brands through Asia. Due to a recent expansion of their operations in Thailand, our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead their operations and people in the following role:
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – CONSUMER PRODUCTS
The HR Manager will report to the Regional HR Manager based abroad and will be required to manage our client’s vast operations of people in Thailand. This will involve a summary of the overall job responsibilities as follows:
Manage the complete HRM/HRD management of the company’s operations in Thailand.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job description for all positions.
Maintains organization staff by establishing recruiting, testing and interviewing program, counseling on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, recommending changes.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay survey, scheduling and conducting job evaluation, preparing pay budgets, monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions, recommending planning and implementing pay structure revisions;
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee performance and resolving employee grievances, counseling employees.
Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefit by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management, and processing the benefit claims;
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable personnel management compliance to government requirements, maintaining records and representing the company on labor disputes;
Remain up-to-date with job requirements and amend job descriptions as needed.
Qualified to degree level in a related subject
8+ years of HR-related experience preferably within the consumer goods or related industry.
Previous HR working experience gained in a multinational retailer or a FMCG company managing a diverse work group is preferred
Overall well rounded HR experiences (HRM, HRD) and previous management experiences of a small team of subordinates is essential.
Strong command of English (written and spoken) is a must.
Strong background on Thailand labor regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
