Our client is an American software company that services the international oil and gas market sector. Established over 10 years ago and currently has a global workforce of over 2,000 professionals over 4 continents our client is expanding their operations in SE Asia and currently have a role for a Senior Software Engineer.
The Software Engineer will report to the expatriate Technical Manager based abroad and serve as a key technical representative of our client’s software organization to the world’s leading energy companies.
Provide 1st level support and troubleshooting upgrading and technical advice to users.
Become proficient in the development of our client’s Production suite of applications.
Become part of the support team for Thailand’s leading oil and gas company and provide onsite 1st level support and troubleshooting.
Liaise with the customer support team and become a single point of contact managing issues and requests between the customer and our client’s global technical teams.
Assist 2nd and 3rd level support as knowledge of our client’s software solutions increases.
Implementing solutions using our client’s software and other 3rd party products
Qualified to degree level in Software Engineering or a related subject.
3+ years of software development/support experience.
Very Good English
Able to travel frequently as part of the normal job requirements.
