Our client is a world-famous European building automation and controls company currently employing over 20,000 people worldwide. In Thailand, they are selling high-end building automation solutions that include smart home controls, automated doors and gate closures, and other state of the art home automation products and they have a rare opening for an experienced senior manager to take over our client’s service center and team for the following role
BANGKOK – BUILDING AUTOMATION TECHOLOGES                                   UP TO 110K/Month  
The Technical Manager will report to the Thailand General Manager and be responsible for our clients technical and support services in Thailand. The role will need to manage a sizable team of diverse people to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are obtained. This will involve the following main responsibities:
  • Oversee the entire Thailand Technical department covering repairs, service technicians, installation service, call center
  • Manage aft Supervising Engineers and subcontractor on execution of projects and managing directly most complex projects when required.
  • Select and manage subcontractors and ensure their commitment to adhering to agreed service standards and timelines.
  • Provide training and support to all commissioning team members internally and externally (with System Integrator partners).
  • Maintain an orderly system for managing customer enquiries.
  • Remain up-to-date and informed about company processes and systems.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality customer service at all times.
  • Set KPI for the team whilst maintaining team credibility and integrity.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires staff based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
  • Responsible for the performance, training & development for the staff.
  • Hands-on, yet to delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up when appropriate.
  • Qualified to degree level in an engineering related subject
  • 8+ years of pre and post after-sales service management in a related sector (building automation, building electronics, etc).
  • Strong technical background in technical and maintenance pertaining to the building control solutions and of Mechanical, Electric and Electronic products; experience of buildings and infrastructure works will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead the technical team in handling customer issues
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage sizable teams in remote locations.
  • Very good command of spoken / written English.
  • Proficient in the use of AUTOCAD and MS offices based systems.
  • Customer service-orientated mentality.
