​Our client is a tech start up with operations spanned across several key markets in South East Asia that includes Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia offering a state of the art platform for companies and workers a solutions for seasonal and on-demand hiring requirements for a variety of sectors in South East Asia. Established in Bangkok several years ago, our client has grown into one of South East Asia fastest growing tech companies and is now seeking an experienced Operations professional to take on the following challenge

The Operations Director will report to the Group Chief Operations Officer and to the company’s CEO and work in a senior level role that will include the following key responsibilities:

•Creating, developing and implementing strategies to identify and pursue lucrative market opportunities and deliver sustainable profitable growth for the organization

•Identify, develop and implement long and short term strategic direction and plans. Take responsibility for planning and implementing the business strategies, plan, and procedures with clear objectives of company's performance and growth

•Management and development of our Thailand operations teams (you will bring our team to the next level!) and resources, while working cross-functionally with the heads of divisions to ensure teams are working in sync

•Being a solid project manager. Implementing short and long-term projects that lead us to create 2x + the value we created prior

•Be the operations point of contact for management across the region, ensuring greater-strategy alignment and a clean flow of vital information

•Develop a sound rhythm of business throughout the operations team, ensuring the team isn’t working in silos

•Localize and formalize the regional SOP, with the intent to grow the Thailand market using a tried-and-tested approach

•Build an expert-level understanding of our proprietary operational software, with the intent to improve the effectiveness of our operations team through improved tools and automation

•Track and manage the health of our partner funnel - be able to fully grasp the issues at hand and effectively develop long-term strategies to tackle systemic issues, including partner nurturing through Worker Support

•Process optimization - you will be tasked with improving the regional operations handbook to ensure we improve partner liquidity and quality based on unique market

conditions

•Cost and budget management, ensuring we’re deploying our resources effectively

Qualifications:

•Thai National

•Qualified o graduate degree level in a business / finance subject

•Hands on entrepreneurial experience at a strategic level gained within a technology based organization with a good mix of strategic and operations experience that drives the organization to grow in new and existing markets

•Thorough understanding of ecommerce technology within B2B and B2C environments

•3-7+ years of overall management experiences preferably working in the eCommerce or relevant sector.

•Strong leadership, drive and ability to inspire and develop teams

•Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

•Candidate should be structured, analytical, pay attention to fine details, hands-on and ambitious.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

•Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

•Excellent command of English
