Regional HR Manager - Organizational Development

Bangkok / Up to 220k/month

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest packaging equipment manufacturer and automation companies that automates the packaging processes for the world’s most famous brands. The company has more than 90 years of history and is spanned all over the world with its headquarter in North America. Business wise, it designs and automates a complete packaging line ranging from small-scale production (e.g., stretch wrappers) to large-scale production (e.g., peat moss field equipment). The company is consistently growing and to support this, they are looking for an experienced HR professional to take on a new regional role to support their SE Asia & Oceania operations.

  • The position will report directly expatriate Vice President of Asia based in Thailand and act as the SE Asia and Oceania HR point of contact for all HR Operations and Organizational Development practices in procedures
  • Act as the SE Asia and Oceania HR Representative for our clients operations and HR colleagues in these territories,
  • Provide and intergrade analysis for long-term employee learning & development roadmap/framework aligned with business direction for all employees and new joiners to build capability and standard across the organization.
  • Plan, manage, execute and evaluate outcome of the learning & development interventions as planned in the development roadmap
  • Drive training & development strategies. Initiatives, developing, monitoring Talent Management Programs.
  • Responsible for career development plan to establish career ladder for employees at all levels.
  • Work closely with every department to obtain training & development needs.
  • Design and implement the learning and development program for overall staffs across SE Asia & Oceania territories.
  • Develop Project initiative and development programs in line with our client’s overseas HQ’s
  • Manage satisfaction, expectation and gain trust of stakeholders and target participants within time and resource constrains
  • Increase capability and readiness of all employees and new joiners

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Business Management, HRM, HRD, Organizational Development or related fields
  • At least 8+ years working experience in Human Resource development and HR Operations gained in a multi-national organization.
  • Strong background and knowledge of HR Operations law and processes is essential.
  • Previous regional responsibilities are required.
  • Knowledge of learning & development design of employee capability development (including design, technology, delivery and assessment)
  • Ability to handle various needs of internal customers from all management levels
  • Ability to create ownership and employees’ commitment in self-development
  • Able to make decisions while completing a project and routine work or each assignment (i.e. vendor selection)
  • Possess strategic thinking and project management skill
  • Good consulting, coordinating and analytical skills
  • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Able to travel between various work locations, plants as needed by development events and quarterly HR Reviews / Meetings.
