Finance Manager - Consumer Goods

Outside Bangkok / Up to 110K THB/Month

Our client is one of the leading companies in the household goods industry who provides a wide range of highly innovative household items, including kitchenware, bathroom furniture and more. Established in Europe more than 25 years ago, our client currently has numerous operations in various regions across the world and retain their global market share position in the kitchen utensil and homeware product categories. Due to their continuingly growing organization, our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their multinational organization.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Regional Finance Director based abroad and will mainly be responsible for overseeing our client financial and accounting operational activities and people in Thailand. The sought-after position will be achieving and meeting accounting operational objectives and will be assuming the following key responsibilities:

  • Report all monthly financial information and process positive pay transactions in a timely manner.
  • Execute the budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Fulfil day-to-day accounting operations, including accounting for daily goods and disbursement transactions.
  • Arranging annual Statutory Financial Statements and to comply with Thai Reporting Standard Reporting (TFRS)
  • Preparing monthly and Budget Financial reports for Consolidation with Head Office - Overseas
  • Reviewing and Regulating taxation to comply with Revenue Code, Commercial code and Civil & Commercial law, accounting profession Act and other taxes relating to business operation.
  • Coordinating activities with various internal departments for VAT and other tax-related submissions.
  • Providing tax consultancy / advisement to another department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance / Accounting, or related
  • At least 7 years of working experience within the homeware, cooking or related sector is highly preferred.
  • Have an operation experience or working as a controller or chief accountant in small international company, familiar with consignment, retail, consolidation report, controller experience is a plus.
  • Candidates with previous retail consignment and credit based accounting experiences are preferred.
  • Possess a level of business maturity, flexibility, and intestinal fortitude, with a can-do attitude.
  • Possess strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and work with teams, as well as independently.
  • Excellent Command of both spoken and written English
