Head of Fulfilment Operations – E-Commerce

Established in Bangkok several years ago, our client has become the leader in e-business and is currently seeking a fulfilment and operations professional to play a key role in managing the team and take on the following challenges

The Head of Fulfilment Operations will be reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and will be responsible for any fulfilment operations. The sought-after candidate will be managing and controlling overall operations, including inbound, inventory, outbound and return, as well as responsible for the following main responsibilities:

  • Managing and handling overall day-to-day fulfilment operations, strictly on safety policy and company
  • Having experience with warehouse layout, cost/benefit analysis, labor productivity analysis
  • Leading, motivating team through effective & open communication in order to maximize customer satisfaction and team productivity
  • Efficiency managing and expediting the ticket closing/fixing in time
  • Measuring performance, providing feedback as well as taking proactive steps to ensure the best practices are shared across all departments
  • Driving creation of quality initiatives, process change, 5S, Lean initiatives and continuous improvement to enable their functional area to exceed the business plan
  • Creating a positive and collaborative team environment by setting and regularly reviewing the achievement of team goals
  • Ensuring compliance to Safety & Security, DG and Company policies and procedures
  • Documenting and tracking any failures/error including reporting on failure rates, causes, and preventable incidents


  • Qualified to graduate degree level in engineering, operations, or related field
  • 10+ years’ direct experience in Manager role in warehouse operations
  • 3+ years management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a warehousing or distribution environment (Preferable B2C)
  • Strong knowledge in best warehousing practice with performance metrics & process improvement & Lean techniques & inventory management strategy
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel
  • Knowledge in Project Management & Lean Sigma is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
