Business Development Executive – Heavy Industry Vehicles

Our client is one of the world’s leading companies, who specializes in aftermarket diesel engine parts for heavy duty and agricultural equipment industry, offering their customers a huge range of high-quality engine and non-engine parts. Established in Singapore in 2005, our client has served not only to equipment owners, but also to workshops and parts retailers in over 13 countries in Asia Pacific region. Due to an overwhelming demand and continuous growth, our client now has an operating for an experienced Business Development Executive to take on the following role

The Business Development Executive will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager and the Managing Director, who are based in Singapore. This sought-after position will mainly be promoting and finding marketing channels for the company’s products within Thailand, and will also involve the following main responsibilities:

  • Travelling and exploring new territories within Thailand, in order to develop new customer relationships
  • Analyzing market trends in Thailand, including machine population, shifts in demand for products, competitive forces, new business opportunities, etc.
  • Actively providing suggestions and recommendations on strategies to increase sales or develop new business opportunities

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field (business management or related)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant working experience in sales/aftermarket sales (in the aftermarket spare parts industry is a plus)
  • Experience in engine parts used on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins, Perkins and/or Detroit Diesel applications is preferred
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Thai, with an exceptional communication skill
  • High level of responsibility and initiative
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
