Business Development Manager - Pet Products

Bangkok / Up to 75K THB/Month

Our client is one South East Asia’s most well-known Pet Food Products group based in Singapore. With a variety of Premium and Mass market brand under their portfolio, our client’s products have become the region’s preferred Veterinarians choice for Pet Food products found at Specialty stores and retailers throughout Southeast Asia. As part of their international expansion our client is planning an entrance to the Thai Pet Sector and has an opening for an experiences Business Development Manager to take a crucial role in their expansion to Thailand in the following capacity

The Business Development Manager will mainly be responsible for new business expansion and new customer acquisition by approaching potential channel partners / distributors in the Pet Sector in Thailand. This sought-after position will be reporting to the Export Sales Manager, who is based in Singapore, and will also involve the following main responsibilities:

  • Conducting market analysis ranging from market trend, competitor movement, business environment, etc. and applying the findings to develop for business models and/ or program to drive for sales growth
  • Establishing positive relationship with potential Channel Partners and prospected customers supporting for long terms business plan in order to build up sustainability growth
  • Locating and proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; recommending equity investment
  • Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals
  • Closing new business deal by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations

Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified to Degree Level in a related sector.
  • At least 4+ years in B2B Sales experience (Preferably within the pet food sectors)
  • Previous Chanel Management experience is essential
  • Possess strong analytical, logical, planning & organizing, negotiation, presentation, and managerial skills
  • Results driven, having “can-do attitude” can drive for extra miles
  • Able to work with long hours and work well under pressure
  • Good command in English both spoken and written English, with an exceptional communication skill
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and Internet)
  • Willingness and ability to travel (national/international) as required
