Head of Sales - Houseware Products

Our client is one of the leading companies in the household goods industry who provides a wide range of highly innovative household items, including kitchenware, bathroom furniture and more. Established in Europe more than 25 years ago, our client currently has numerous operations in various regions across the world and retain their global market share position in the kitchen utensil and homeware product categories. Due to an increase in demand for their products in Thailand, there is a new opening for an experienced Sales Professional to take on a leadership sales role in the following capacity.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Regional Director based abroad and will mainly be responsible for an overall sales activity, leading the management of the entire sales department and working closely with other internal departments in concerned of sales matters. This sought-after position will also be responsible for the long-term brand strategy development and execution and be assuming the following key responsibilities:

  • Leading, designing, and implementing the business’s development activities and corporate branding in order to increase revenue and gross profit.
  • Providing leadership and strategic direction to the business’s overall sales program, including securing new customers, expanding opportunities within the current customer through offerings and advertising
  • Setting departmental KPIs and evaluating the effectiveness of the sales initiatives, as well as encouraging the overall sales and business targets achievements
  • Overseeing the marketing and global brand portfolio on a national basis for the company and align with APAC.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing the business’s sales process, ranging from relationship development to contract finalization.
  • Conducting related analyses and communicating the results through various forms to management and for the sales departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent in business management or related
  • At least 8 years of working experience in a high-level sales position in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience within the homeware, cooking or related sector is highly preferred.
  • Possess a level of business maturity, flexibility, and intestinal fortitude, with a can-do attitude.
  • Possess strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and work with teams, as well as independently.
  • Native Thai with Excellent Command in both spoken and written English
