Head of Performance Marketing - EdTech Start-Up

Bangkok / Up to 160K THB/Month

Our client is an Education Technology startup company from Singapore, offering an online learning platform for Children throughout SE Asia. Operating in Thailand since 2020, our client has successfully become the top online learning platform in Asia that has grown at a record fast pace, and due to the growth, our client is looking for a performance marketing professional to take crucial part in driving the business and to take on the following challenges.

The Head of Performance Marketing will be responsible for building and leading a high-performance team across regions, as well as building the fundamentals of the local performance marketing capabilities. The successful candidate’s overall job responsibilities are outlined as follows:

  • Managing the finances and budget to meet performance goals
  • Collaborating with cross-functional and local country teams on budgeting, forecasting, and achieving growth targets
  • Testing, optimizing, and scaling performance marketing activities across all channels, including agency management
  • Creating, managing, and experimenting with new user acquisition campaigns
  • Conceiving and executing on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education and engagement
  • Managing the paid performance of social media platforms and drive content creation
  • Analyzing data to monitor conversion/revenue performance and uncover areas for improvement
  • Preparing and presenting recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data to the leadership team

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any related field (preferably in marketing area)
  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing (in Ed-tech industry is a plus)
  • Strong ROI and growth mindset with track record of previously managing + performance marketing budget, with samples and results of past campaigns
  • Experience in building local in-house performance marketing functions from early stage
  • Experience in building and leading high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid project management skills, with ability to lead and collaborate, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Thai, with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of social media, email marketing, CRM, HTML/CSS, and marketing automation tools
