Regional Vice President Operations – Tech Start Up

Bangkok / UP TO 300K/Month

Our client is a tech start up with operations spanned across several key markets in Southeast Asia that includes Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia within the technology sector. Established in Singapore several years ago, our client started off as a staffing solutions platform and has recently become an end-to-end HR platform, who helps automate the entire workforce management process to optimize blue-collar workforce productivity. Due to their rapid growth, our client is currently seeking for a Vice President Operations to take on the following role: 

The Vice President Operations will be reporting directly to the expatriate CEO, who is based abroad, and will mainly be responsible for the building of digital and offline acquisition strategies of blue-collar workers throughout the SE Asia Region. This sought-after position will be developing the best organization design for the company’s worker acquisition and attraction through various operations and marketing strategies throughout the SE Asia Region. The role will be senior level role that will be an evolving role as the business expands and the highlights of the role are summarized as follows:

  • Designing tools and systems to ensure the company had expansion strategies and optimized candidate acquisition tools throughout the SE Asia Region.
  • Working with our client’s Product Teams to build out products that support the acquisition and retention of work forces in the Blue-Collar sector throughout SE Asia.
  • Collaborating and analyzing data to identify leading indicators about the reliability recruiting / acquisition strategies to optimized levels.
  • Creating a sense of community and partner engagement through loyalty / rewards programs that will be designed to
    • Identifying opportunities for worker rewards that will make a difference to the blue-collar workers of SEA
    • Building out partnerships that help create additional value for the company’s workforce – business expansion

Qualifications:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a related subject with preferences to those with Graduate level degrees preferably with an engineering related subject.
  • Previous working experiences with a Tech Start Up are preferred or those experienced candidates who have overseen operational / expansion strategies.
  • Previous experiences expanding workforces (blue collar) are highly sought-after qualities of the sought-after candidate
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Flexible to travel to the company’s other offices in the SE Asia Region is required.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
