Quality / Process Engineer – Semiconductors

Our client is one of the world’s leading companies from the US, who manufactures state-of-the-art 3D imaging and measurement solutions. With applications ranging from criminal science, automotive alignment, technical inspections, and an array of other, our client is continually applying new technologies to service their customers. Due to the continuous growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their global company.

The Quality Engineer will be serving as the Quality / Supplier Quality resource in all functions and duties, as well as being responsible for utilizing core proactive new product development activities. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Recommending and training on best practices within the Quality Organization
  • Working directly with customers and other internal groups at company on problem solving exercises
  • Collaborating onsite with contract manufacturer and support any company’s operations’ quality needs
  • Building strong strategic relationships between the company and their suppliers
  • Facilitating and supporting supplier-related activities such as Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) reviews, process control plans, etc.
  • Leading cross functional root cause analysis for supplier problem resolution activities
  • Leading continuous improvement and corrective action activities within the supply base
  • Supporting supplier evaluation and approval process with supply chain partners and Contract manufacturer


  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline (Masters is preferred)
  • 3-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer role (in manufacturing industry and with a global supply chain, is preferred)
  • Certified Supplier Quality Professional or Quality Professional (CSQP) preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain relationships with key influencers, internal and external customers
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • Very good command in both spoken and written English and Thai (German language is a plus)
  • Computer literacy with ability to work with proactive tools (DFX, DFMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
