Business Development Executive - Energy/Power

Our client is one of Korea’s largest business conglomerates with businesses ranging from chemicals. Machinery and a full range of industrial applications. With over 300,000 employees spread across 5 continents, our client is one of the world’s largest industrial conglomerates and is seeking an experienced sales professional to join their energy and power division in Thailand.

The Business Development Executive will report to the Energy Department Manager and assist in the analysis and research of products of our client’s energy products (Coal, Copper, Commodities) that are sold to the global energy sector. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Business development and analysis within Thailand’s energy sector
  • Sale Support for selling and sourcing assigned products, inclusive development of new products
  • Sale activity with potential importers / customer
  • Visit new customers and maintain good relationship
  • Provide ideas on new business development / new products
  • Contribute to expand clientele in the region and Thailand domestic market .

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level in a chemical related subject of study.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in sale support and or business development in the energy/power sector.
  • Strong analytical skills to survey and setting up a strategy to achieve new customers or new business development
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, active, self – motivated with the ability to learn
  • Good English communication skills – Written and spoken.
