Sales Manager - Marine Navigation and Communications

Bangkok / Up to 100K THB/Month

Our client is one of the world’s leading marine electronics systems integrators and services providers from Singapore, who offers a full range of marine communication equipment and services for maritime and oil & gas industries at one stop. Established in Singapore and served the Asia Pacific region for over 45 years, our client has been providing such exceptional services to their customers, environmental and socially concerned, as well as promoting a substantial workplace model for their employed talents. For over 10 years in Thailand, our client has been expanding continually and due to the increasing demand, they are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to take on the following role

The sought-after candidate will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, who is based abroad, and will mainly be responsible for sales and marketing of navigation and communications solutions and solution marine industry in Thailand. This will involve bringing in business to achieve annual sales target, as well as the following key responsibilities:

  • Making business plans and strategies to achieve sales volume, meet margin and to have a steady business growth
  • Making sales plan, customer sales call and associated sales activities to achieve sales target
  • Making marketing plans and demand generation programs to achieve pipeline growth
  • Supporting and coordinating with regional distributors
  • Identifying and recruiting business partners / agents to improve market reach
  • Making winning proposals (technical and commercial proposal) to meet customer needs
  • Supporting marketing events, campaigning and demand generation programs
  • · Contributing to team effort by working with engineering and proposal team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any types of Engineering or related subject
  • At least 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in marine sector
  • Highly motivated individual with proven sales track record
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience in competitive bidding
  • Technical knowledge on navigation and communications hardware is a plus
  • Strong in interpersonal and presentation / technical marketing skills
  • Very good command of both spoken and written English and Thai
