Sales Manager - Software

Bangkok / Up to 150k/month

Our client is a leading technology solutions company which has been established for nearly 10 years. This company is a distributor of various branded programming software used by customers around the world. Such customers include those from R&D firms through to multinational conglomerates. A key player in Southeast Asia, they are now seeking a Country Manager to head up the operations in Bangkok.

The Sales Manager will report to the regional Director based abroad and lead our client’s sales in Thailand and be required to fulfil the following duties and requirements:

  • Report to the regional HQ in Singapore.
  • Lead the entire team of operations in Thailand with the aim of maximizing profits and market share.
  • Maximize market share in multiple industries including the automotive, aerospace and educational sectors.
  • Implement both long and short term strategies to ensure sustainable revenue streams.
  • Meet and exceed the country sales target set by the HQ.
  • Drive up sales by expanding geographical reach within SEA.
  • Represent the team in Thailand during global conferences and business reviews.
  • Maintain employee motivation and develop clear paths for employee development.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10 + years of related experience with at least 6 + years in a management role.
  • Experience selling technology products, preferably within the technical/engineering software market.
  • Previous experience using / selling MATLAB and / or Simulink software products is preferred
  • Very good English abilities (written and spoken)
  • Willing to travel.
