Business Analyst - Consulting Firm

Bangkok / Up to 75K THB/Month

Our client is a global management consulting firm headquartered in the US. This firm has been rated as one of the best employers on Fortune 500’s list of international companies for several years in a row. A position has opened up at their branch in Thailand and they are looking for a Team Assistant to join their prestigious company.

The Business Analyst will join our client’s Consulting Team and work with one of their banking clients around the following responsibilities:

  • Supports workstream leads (based on PM and PMO Lead directions) address the most complex/strategic problems emerging throughout the project
  • Builds an approach to solve complex problems (approved by workstream lead)
  • Supports with quantitative analyses for decision making, including data request / data gathering, setup of quantitative models, assumptions / scenarios definition
  • Supports with research via internal and external sources (e.g. internal stakeholder
    interviews, industry reports, mystery shopping, discussion with technology vendors,…)
  • Supports with assessment of “as is” business and technology architecture, and
    translates these into Business and IT requirements for PSH
    • Identifies design options / trade off’s and their relative implications
  • Understands overall programs Business and IT objectives and priorities to ensure
    consistency of decisions over time
  • Prepares materials that synthetize analysis/research results into actionable insights


  • Highly proficient English and Thai language skills (excellent writing skills)
  • Strong academic background (business or quantitative) and problem solving skills
  • 4+ years experience as Business Analyst (or equivalent) in financial institutions
  • Supporting managerial decision making by synthetizing insights from quantitative analyses, benchmarks, research, collection of input from several stakeholders, etc.
  • Ideally with experience on technology-related initiatives and in interacting with IT teams
  • Skills: strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to frame and communicate effectively complex problems/solutions, result-focused mindset, detail orientation
  • Experience with Power Point and Excel
