Digital Transformation Project Manager - Oil/Gas

Our client is a multinational technology company that services the international oil and gas market sector. Established over established over 30 years ago and currently having a global workforce of over 2,000 professionals over 4 continents our client is expanding their operations in SE Asia and currently have a Project Manager opportunity for an experienced Energy experienced Project Manager to take on a rare and interesting challenge in the following capacity.

The sought-after candidate will work with one of Thailand’s largest Energy Conglomerates managing a digital transformation project with the intent of streamlining and optimizing business processes as part of a companywide improvement project. The role plays a key part of the ongoing implementation and various locations (Bangkok, Chonburi & Rayong) and work around the following areas of responsibility.

  • Serve as central coordinator between Digital Transformation team and business units.
  • Support teams to implement digital project throughout the project life.
  • Initiate projects through the development of project charters and identification of stakeholders
  • Plan project including forming project team, collecting and analyzing requirements, defining scope and activities of the project, estimating schedule and cost, identifying specialist support from the Digital Transformation Team
  • Execute projects, assuring project quality, managing a diverse project team, managing communications, conducting procurements, and managing stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage performance of the project and report progress and concern to management.


  • Thai National
  • Qualified to Degree in an Engineering subject with preference to those in an Oil/Gas related engineering subject.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management gained within the Energy sector.
  • Previous Experience in digital transformation
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Experience in agile development
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, if required
