Logistics and Inventory Executive - Retail

Our client is a globally known fashion and accessories retailer that currently operates over 4,100 retail stores internationally. With brands that are widely well known and stores that are continually growing into a new market, our client is at the forefront of the fashion industry and continually entering and dominating new markets. Due to a recent expansion at their distribution center in Bagna, there is an opening for an experienced logistics professional to take on the following role.

The sought-after candidate report to the Logistics Manager be responsible for various logistics and inventory management experiences at our client’s distribution facility. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of the inventory in the Distribution Centrel
• Work jointly with all stakeholders (including internal customers and 3PL) in relation to inventory issues, excess, shortages, pilferages and incorrect stock
• Ensure daily system allocations and system priorities are processed on a timely manner with the shortest lead time to the stores
• Monitor and ensure on transfers and receipts accuracy of stocks from/to stores at various locations.,
• Errors and discrepancies to be investigated, adjusted and communicated to the relevant internal department
• Assist with Annual Stock Take and Cycle Counts: includes processing count sheets, input of counts, reconciliation of variances, analyzing processes, problem solving and generating reports

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level in a logistic/ supply chain related subject
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience preferably gained in the retail or related sector.
• Very good written and verbal skills in English
• Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office and a good command of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a fast pace and challenging environment
• Persistency and urgency in following up and ensure timely executions
