Our client is a globally known specialty-chemical manufacturing company who offers a wide range of innovative products and solutions for a diverse range of applications. With their production sites in Europe and Asia and commercial operations in over 90 countries around the world, our client is currently growing their SE Asia manufacturing operations plant in Samut Prakarn and has an opening for an experienced Logistics professional to take on the following role:

The Logistics Manager will mainly be supporting the logistics operations and processes and will be responsible the daily management of our client’s logistics operations and people. This sought-after candidate will be reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

· Coordinating with Sales and Customer Services teams to provide realistic sales forecast to meet supply requirements.

· Responsible for transportation management.

· Maximize efficiency through streamlining operations, distribution and transport.

· Continuously improve warehouse and transport standards.

· Effectively budget and report weekly performance.

· Implement processes to maximize efficiency in terms of cost containment, profit and budgeting.

· Manage the logistics team and ensure productivity standards are continually being upheld.

· Other ad-hoc tasks related to warehousing / product transportation.

· Aiming to constantly define, negotiate and maintain the most effective cost / service solution with the logistic service providers.

· Improving forecast accuracy to ensure on time supply and to make the efficient production plan.

· Compiling sales data for financial department and sales team to analyze

· Overseeing trucks arrangement with transportation company

· Managing goods receipt and issues in SAP timely and maintaining SAP data accurate

· Confirming stock availability and shipment delivery date to relevant parties.

Qualifications required:

· Qualified to Degree level in Logistics or related subject of study.

· +8 years of working experiences preferably gained in a multinational chemical’s organization.

· Possess a solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.

· Good command in both spoken and written Thai and English

· SAP knowledge required.

· APICS or equivalent qualification will be considered as a plus.
