AP Accountant - Bangna - Smart Search Recruitment

Our client is an international Supply Chain Solutions company from the Americas and currently operates over 500 locations worldwide. The company plays a key role in supporting the market segment globally as well as supplying products and services to top companies in the world. Due to a recent expansion of their Thailand branch of operations our client has an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their global company.  

The AP Accountant will report to the Regional Finance Manager based in Singapore and handle accounting related tasks in the company as well as support the following key responsibilities:  

• Handle the Process AP invoices and Credit Note 

• Prepare billing note 

• Monitor and following up on payment with Customers 

• Work with Finance service team for due receivable 

• Peform receipt and clearing in Dax (accounting system) 

• Prepare receipt for Customer to sign off 

• Prepare Output VAT (Value added Tax) and PP30 VAT Form (including addition VAT return, if any) 

• Ensure output Vat reconcile back to GL 

• Enter Exchange rate in our accounting system 

• Confirm Customer AP confirmation and perform reconciliation 

• AP Audit confirmation and reconciliation 

• Upload invoices into customer system (if any) 

• Perform mapping in accounting system 

• Handle cheque deposit and Co-ordinate with Bank officer on all banking matters 

Qualifications:  

• Qualified to degree level in an Accounting related subject. 

• 2+ years of Accounting experience preferably gained in a multinational organization. 

• Background in WHT and VAT calculations and withholdings. 

• Good English communication skills. 

• Able to work independently with little supervision.
