Our client is a leading global cutting tool manufacturer expanding in Thailand seeks an experienced Managing Director with strong industrial sales expertise to lead its Thai affiliate and drive growth in close collaboration with headquarters.

The Managing Director will lead the Thai affiliate’s strategy, P&L, sales and operations, building a high-performing team and strengthening customer relationships. The role reports to the CEO and relevant HQ departments.

Set affiliate strategy and lead execution in alignment with headquarters.
Own full P&L, budgets, forecasts and resource allocation for profitable growth.
Drive sales growth, market expansion and new business across Thailand.
Lead key account strategy, commercial negotiations and client relationships.
Use customer insights and market trends to strengthen competitive positioning.
Oversee operations, inventory and service quality to improve efficiency.
Review financial and sales performance, manage risks and take corrective action.
Build the management team, strengthen accountability and develop successors.
Coach sales teams, set targets and build a results-oriented commercial culture.
Partner with HQ functions; report results to the CEO and relevant departments.

Qualifications:

Minimum 20 years of sales experience in cutting tools or adjacent industries.
Candidates from industrial automation, CNC and metalworking equipment, robotics or heavy equipment are welcome.
Minimum 5 years of management experience leading teams and business performance.
Global-company experience, with close HQ and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong record in sales growth, key account development and market expansion.
Commercial judgment and knowledge of P&L, budgets, operations and inventory.
Ability to translate business strategy into clear plans and measurable targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
English proficiency for communication with the CEO and relevant HQ departments.
