Data Center Support Executive - Data Center - Smart Search Recruitment

Our client is a global leader in infrastructure support and supply chain solutions, serving a wide range of industries including technology, utilities, and critical services. Their operations span complex logistics, technical services, and facility management, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and innovation. Our client’s data center division plays a vital role in ensuring seamless, uninterrupted services through advanced systems management and a commitment to operational excellence. Currently, they are seeking a Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations for the data center at the client’s site.

The Data Center Executive will be responsible for supporting daily operations for the data center, including setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of servers, storage, and network equipment. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot server, storage, and connectivity issues; analyze diagnostic logs and escalate to vendors when needed.
• Support vendor repairs, Return Material Authorization processes, and hardware replacements.
• Handle installations, moves, changes, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
• Perform inspections, inventory management, and documentation updates.
• Ensure capacity planning across space, power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Follow incident and change management processes, reporting regularly on activities.
• Maintain standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management or related field required.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Data Center Technician or IT experience in Data Center environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
• Experience in troubleshooting Ethernet network connectivity issues and troubleshooting server hardware issues from major vendors.
• Strong understanding of data cabling and patching.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
